Privacy policy

Fox Cuts LA is a one-person haircutting business run by Shane Fox in Brentwood, Los Angeles. This page explains what information I collect, why, and what you can ask me to do with it.

What I collect

This website doesn't collect anything. There are no forms, accounts, analytics or ad trackers here.

When you request a cut, you do it on my booking page at cal.com, which asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your email address, so you get a confirmation
  • A phone number, if you choose to add one
  • Any note you write, like the cut you want
  • Whether you're okay with your cut being filmed

That's all I ask for. I don't need your address or birthday to book you.

How I use it

  • To confirm, reschedule or cancel your appointment
  • To contact you about that appointment, for example if I'm running late
  • To keep a simple record of past cuts, with your name, contact and appointment times, so I know what you had last time

I don't sell your information, share it for advertising, or add you to a mailing list.

Who else handles it

Bookings run through Cal.com, and appointments are saved to my Google Calendar and to my client log in Google Sheets. Those companies store the booking details under their own privacy policies. The site itself is hosted on Cloudflare, which, like any web host, processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and keep them secure.

Cookies

This website doesn't set any cookies, so there's no cookie banner to click through. The booking page on cal.com is run by Cal.com and may use cookies needed to make booking work. Their policy explains those.

How long I keep it

I keep booking details for as long as you're a client, and delete them when you ask. Calendar entries for past appointments are cleared out at least once a year.

Your choices

You can ask me to show you what I have about you, correct it, or delete it. Email shanefoxofficial@gmail.com and I'll take care of it within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
